雅思写作：10月10日大作文真题解析：审题中的“绝对词”

国庆假期的时候就和我10号考试的学生们千叮咛万嘱咐：这次出地图题的几率极高。我还为此特别在前几期的推送里讲解了地图题overview的写作。果不其然，完美命中。再此，也恭喜12号和19号的烤鸭们，不用再重点准备地图题了，翻看课堂笔记和考官范文就OK了。

抛开地图题，来说一说今天的大作文题目，原题如下：

The best wayto solve the increasing crime rate of young offenders is to teach parents better parenting skills. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

翻译：解决青少年犯罪率上升问题的最好方式就是教授父母们更好的育儿技巧。

拆解题目：

话题词，即话题现象：solve the increasing crime rate of young offenders

关键词，直击观点：teach parents better parenting skills

写作任务：对该观点 agree or disagree

但是...瞪大你的24K合金钛青光眼，看到题目的前三个单词 “The besy way”，这就是我今天要说的绝对化用词。绝对词，顾名思义指的是那些表达绝对概念的词，也是在语法中不容否定的词。一般情况下，我们认为：题目中一旦出现了绝对词，那么题目所陈述的观点往往在逻辑上是有缺陷的，这也决定了我们通常对于这样的观点，要给出disagree的立场，并且针对这些逻辑上的漏洞，思考反驳改观点的具体reasons。大作文中常见的绝对化用词有以下：

表频率：always, never, merely, hardly;

表范围：all, any, only, no/none, every;

表程度：completely, the best, the worst;

表强制：must, have to.

如果判断出了题目中的关键词，也找到了逻辑漏洞，那么如何对症下药地解题呢？很简单，这个解题过程和日常生活中，你跟人互撕是一样的逻辑。他说他的是最好的，你说还有更好的或者同样好的。他说只能这样做，你就说还可以有其他操作。他认为所有人都这样，你可以反驳：还有不是这样的人。 列举一道题目：

Some people believe that the best way to build a happier society is to ensure that there are only small differences between the richest and the poorest members. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

拆解题目：

话题词，问题现象：build a happier soceity

关键词，题目观点：only small differences between the richest and the poorest memebers

写作任务：agree or disagree

注意到题目陈述观点时，出现了绝对词the best way，那么按照我前方讲到的策略，我们初步判断：答题立场是disagree。然后我们要想一想，还有那些其他的，也很重要的构建更幸福社会的方式。 话题词happiness是个复杂多元的概念，物质满足并不是幸福的全部体现，像题中说到的缩减贫富差距还不够。我们站在“物质”的对立面思考，还能想到一些精神层面的建设，比如，人与之之间更多的信任和互帮互助，也能给社会增添幸福和温暖。

做个小结：含有绝对词的题目，通常选择disagree的立场，随后进入折中思路的写作。main body1 承认题目中的观点也有一定程度的道理；main body2 转折，但是，还有A, B and C也对或更好。

小心、谨慎、提防、注意：并不是只要出现了绝对词，就一定要回答disagree，然后无情狂怼。有极个别题目，虽然也用了绝对词，但是不排除，人家说得没毛病，比如：所有人都得死, None is immortal。来看一道题吧：

The best way to improve health is to do regular exercise. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

题目很简短，我不再拆解了。请用你幼儿园时期，阿姨告诉你的基本健康常识来判断，题目中的观点是没问题的。因此，考官范文的开头段如下：

The most effective method of developing and improving health is considered to be daily exercise. In my opinion, I agree that exercise is the key to health. However, I also believe that diet is important.

回到今天的题目：Some people believe that the best way to build a happier society is to ensure that there are only small differences between the richest and the poorest members. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

立场确立为disagree，先让步：的确，良好的家庭教育对于解决青少年犯罪率高这一现象起着重要作用。再立论：但是，还有其他也很重要的措施也得考虑到：

1. Failures at school: e.g. the mounting pressure from schools and soceity gives rise to the youth crime. / leaving schools early reduces the chance that juveniles will develop their social skills are gained in school.

2. Social Factors: e.g. changes in the economy that lead to fewer job opportunities for youth and rising unemployment in general.

3. Other factors: drug, child abuse, crime details on mass media.
